Nathanielle - Body

Today, I just worked on the body and the hard part about it is making sure all the wheels and everything works. Also making sure the arm isn't too heavy for the one servo/motor.

Nathanielle - The Arm

Today, I mostly worked on the slider part of the arm and connected the straight pointy thing on it. I will continue to finish the arm next time and see of the slider will work. After that, I am going to attach the claw and then find a way to make the slider go up and down. That is about it. The last step is connecting it all to my robot while making it as small as possible.

Nathanielle - AM - New Chassis

I decided to make the bot smaller so I went ahead and made the whole thing smaller. So far, I have the wheels working so it can go forward and turn. It only uses 2 motors and 3 wheels so everything is getting smaller.

Nathanielle - Finding Mistakes

Today our goal was to find all the mistakes of our robots and thinking up of solutions for them. We wanted to make sure that we have goals for our robots so that we can be more focused on building and we won't waste too much time planning on what to do. The main purpose of this was too fix most of the problems.

We had to think back on the competition that happened on 1.18.20 and we talked with the other teams. We first talked about what went wrong during the competition for a few minutes. We listed everything that went wrong and then the next half, we talked about how to solve those solutions.

Next time, I will work more on solving these problems and start designing stuff.

Nathanielle - Louie Coding

Conner and I mostly built the robot and we are almost finished with the hardware. I also messed around with the programming and made the robot be controlled with motion control just for fun and to see how installing code into the robot works. It was relatively easy and now I just got to finish the code while Conner finish the hardware.

Nathanielle - Arm

Today, Conner and I worked on the arm of the robot. It is almost finish meaning that Conner can finish the rest today and then next week, we will focus on coding the robot. We will also connect everything to the main motherboard so that way we can control the motors.

Nathanielle - AM - Coding

While Conner was focusing on building the robot, I was helping Chris with the coding because it will help us in the future if we know how to code the robot. Chris and I were figuring out how to change the controls of the robot and how to reprogram the buttons.
